Connecting and accelerating green ambitions
NextGreen connects parties with green ambitions and accelerates sustainable transitions. Together, we are building a climate-proof living environment and a just future.
Our mission
NextGreen is committed to a sustainable future and is working on the next generation of green initiatives. Our mission is: "To stimulate an innovative, sustainable economy that contributes to a livable planet for everyone, now and in the future."
We strive for a resilient, thriving, and equitable world without depletion, pollution, or biodiversity loss.
With enthusiasm, creativity, and determination, we work together with partners to develop and implement sustainable actions and results. Our goal is to create a societal context that stimulates and sustains the new economy, one in which sustainability is the norm.

Our vision
At NextGreen, we believe in the power of collaboration to create a sustainable future. Our vision is based on the following principles:
We see innovation as the key to real change. By encouraging creative thinking, we help develop smart products, sustainable business models, and stimulating policies together.
Real transition is only possible when all stakeholders work together. Our goal is to connect entrepreneurs, governments, knowledge institutions, NGOs, financial institutions, and residents to jointly tackle the challenges of our time.
We aim to inspire companies to redefine their role in society. By encouraging corporate social responsibility, we seek to create a positive impact that goes beyond profit maximization.
As a catalyst for change, we support organizations and individuals with green ambitions. We facilitate meaningful dialogues and concrete actions towards a sustainable and resilient society.
Our focus is on building strong, future-oriented partnerships. We bring together parties that are open to innovation and willing to take collective steps toward a greener and fairer world.
Our approach
NextGreen combines years of experience in transition support with knowledge of sustainability issues. We are not a consultancy firm offering ready-made advice, but rather enable people and organizations to find their best solutions through unexpected connections and fruitful dialogues.
This ensures that people and organizations are more deeply involved: insights are not only recorded, but also lived and communicated. As a result, the solutions also have an impact in practice. Thanks to our large and relevant network of sustainability leaders, we can easily involve the desired and necessary parties for collaboration.
Inspiration
In our assignments, communities, and initiatives, we draw inspiration from a number of methods and visions:
At NextGreen, we work with dialogue as proposed by philosopher Martin Buber. In a dialogue, speaking and listening are in balance. This interplay creates a connection with the deeper sources of the conversation partners. This leads to insights that can be built upon together, making 1 + 1 become 3. Read more about dialogue in our blog.
The steps in our process guidance are inspired by the steps in Otto Scharmer's U process. We apply Scharmer's approach primarily when setting up and facilitating a Community of Practice, as well as in parts of Green Deals.
For co-creation processes, we also use the creative problem-solving approach from Gerard Puccio's Creative Leadership model.
When addressing societal challenges with a future-focused mindset, we like to harness the power of positivity, as elaborated in the Appreciative Inquiry method.

Green business practices
Our business operations are as sustainable as possible. This means:
- Banking with Triodos Bank
- Traveling by public transport, bicycle, and occasionally an electric, shared car
- Circular, organic, and fair purchasing: our office furniture, catering, and moderation materials
- Website hosting via Greenhost
- Office in the Willibrordus Business Center, the repurposed GGZ NHN headquarters, within walking distance of Heiloo intercity station
- We limit our ecological footprint by working paperless as much as possible.
