About NextGreen
NextGreen aims to strengthen the sustainable business movement. We work with and for organizations with green ambitions, by providing process guidance and workshops for communities of practice and Green Deals, among other projects.
As per june 2017, NextGreen was previously known as AMBOR creatie.
Our ambition
The world is facing a range of environmental challenges: climate change, the decrease in biodiversity, resource depletion and pollution. We are committed to strengthening and optimising what is truly valuable. We want to help create a world that is inhabitable for everyone today and in the future.
Together we want to develop and move towards a new economy, where innovative sustainable products and services are the status quo; thriving in a society that stimulates and maintains this new economy.
NextGreen is working towards the next green generation. We believe this next generation is orange: the colour of passion and collaboration – the essential building blocks for a transition towards a truly sustainable world.
Our vision
Collaboration
Transitions do not happen of their own accord. We need more than just sustainable innovation. The market and the context need to change too – a change of the whole system is essential.
We make transitions together, by creating connections between organisations, and within organisations. Business owners and governments, research institutions and NGOs, and citizens all need one another in order to move towards a society that is truly sustainable. Organisations and individuals with green ambitions, who are open to dialogue and co-creation.
Creativity
The challenges that we face demand new ways of thinking. Creativity is needed to renew products, revenue models and partnerships, and changes in societal roles. Businesses are working in a more socially responsible way and striving to make a more positive impact in society and on our planet. Governments are playing a facilitating role, and NGOs are becoming partners for businesses too, creating win-win situations together.
Partners
We work for and in collaboration with organizations and people with green ambitions who are open to dialogue and who will take the necessary steps towards a green future.
Our inspiration
Dialogue
At NextGreen, we enjoy working with the dialogue method, as given to us by the Jewish philosopher Martin Buber. In a dialogue, speaking and listening are in balance with each other. Through this interaction, the dialogue partners can connect to their deeper sources. In this way, new insights can emerge that we can build on and the sum becomes greater than its parts.
U-Process
The four services of connecting, exploring, renewing and accelerating are inspired by the steps in the U-process of Otto Scharmer. We apply Scharmer’s ideas mainly during the setup and guidance of a Community of Practice. We also apply the ideas to aspects of green deals.
Creative Leadership
The approach to problem solving in co-creation processes is based on the Creative Leadership model of Gerard Puccio.
Appreciative Inquiry
The power of a positive force, as used in the Appreciative Inquiry method is effective in addressing the challenges of a future oriented society.

Spiral
About the images on this site: for me, the spiral shape represents connection and acceleration, as well as convergence and divergence in creative processes.
“The spiral pattern found throughout the natural world is an optimal flow form, allowing fluids to travel as fast as possible”– Asknature
Colour
Our colours are green and orange. NextGreen works towards building the next green generation. That generation is orange: the colour of passion and collaboration, needed to work towards a truly sustainable world.
