A new online toolbox from the Ministry of the Interior shows how you can finance climate adaptation. NextGreen contributed to the project sheets on financing structures and opportunities for linking projects.

With this toolbox, the Ministry of the Interior and RVO aim to compile available information on climate adaptation financing and make it accessible. The toolbox consists of three parts:

1. Costs and benefits of climate adaptation
2. The financing of climate adaptation (with more than 25 forms and structures of financing)
3. Smart combining and linking

The aim is to inspire a broad group of professionals within government agencies, financial institutions, housing associations, building investors, and project developers to finance climate adaptation in innovative ways. Concrete instructions, tips, and examples are provided for each form of financing.
