Irene has 15 years of experience as a sustainability consultant at the intersection of nature and economics. She previously worked as a project leader and facilitator of sustainable transitions and green area development.
With her multidisciplinary experience at financial institutions, companies, and the government, she supports innovative coalitions. Her background as a biologist and communication scientist comes in handy here.

Jaco Leijdekker

Jaco previously worked in the financial sector, particularly in banking. In 2016, he launched a sustainable crowdfunding platform with the aim of financing sustainable investments and new initiatives.
Jaco supports NextGreen on a freelance basis with the development and provision of financial instruments for climate adaptation for both the public and private sectors.

Alessa recently graduated with a degree in urban planning and specializes in climate adaptation in public spaces. Drawing on this background, she has recently joined the team as a project assistant. She also has years of experience maintaining the website, and her attention to detail proved invaluable during the launch of the new site.
