Commissioned by the Ministry of the Interior and Kingdom Relations and the Netherlands Enterprise Agency, NextGreen contributed to the development of the Climate Adaptation Financing Toolbox, which makes available knowledge about costs, benefits, and financing options accessible to professionals in the public and private sectors. 

Context

The Ministry of the Interior has developed an online toolbox on the financing of climate adaptation. It brings together information on the costs and benefits of climate adaptation, various forms and structures of financing, and opportunities for linking these together. NextGreen contributed to this toolbox, partly based on its previous work within the Financial Incentives Alliance and the Finance and Climate Adaptation Analysis. The primary focus was on making the available information accessible to a broad group of professionals within government agencies, financial institutions, and building owners.
