Climate Adaptation Working Group moving forward with full (adaptation) force
What did the participants of the Climate Adaptation Working Group work on in 2024? You can read about it in the 2024 Progress Report, which is now online. Based on five thematic clusters: Communication, Housing, Businesses, Data, and Investments, work was done on implementing recommendations from the successful report 'Climate Adaptation in a Rapid Pace.' Examples include the development of innovative financial instruments and their implementation in new pilot projects, such as the Bloemhof Rotterdam foundation approach and the Súdwest-Fryslân climate-adaptive business parks. These and other efforts by the working group are giving practical shape to the much-needed public-private partnership with regard to climate adaptation tasks.
